There are still days on which I have to pinch myself when I look back on the journey we’ve been on, as, the truth is, when it comes to business I am not in my natural environment. My passion is for sharing the science powering human interaction but, to start with at least, it seemed that running a business was all about legalities, admin, deadlines and proposals.
As we have grown, whilst I have been able to better manage this delicate balance, I have also learnt that delivering on your dream involves tremendous emotional as well as financial investment. I’ve failed, made bad decisions and lost money but these have also been the times of greatest learning and evolution. I’m pleased to say that these days the fun, exciting and rewarding times now far outweigh the emotional, frustrating and lonely ones.
